Compelled at an early age to sing and play the piano, Brandon Edwards was predestined to do music. Faithfully serving as a worship leader and musician since the age of 12, Brandon finds great joy in what he does. “You come into the sanctuary and you can just feel the heaviness on people sometimes, and that pulls on you. For the spirit of heaviness God has given us a garment of praise, and what an honor it is to lead people into that place so that they can leave feeling refreshed and ready to take on the week ahead of them.”

Brandon who started his musical journey directing the choir, playing the piano, and leading worship has had the honor of sharing the stage with artist such as Imagine Dragons, William Murphy, Jonathan Nelson, Kirk Franklin, and many more. He is currently a member of Mark T. Jackson and Final Call who recently recorded the title track to gospel great Shirley Caesar’s “Fill This House” written by Mark T. Jackson.

Now Brandon is currently finishing his debut project entitled “Good Friday”, an EP with songs focused around the message of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. “I found myself struggling to write songs. I wanted to write about my hurt and painful experiences, but nothing came. I realized that so many times we focus on our situation instead of focusing on the answer, Jesus. HE said if I be lifted up I’ll draw all men, so the songs that began to flow were songs that magnified who He was in that painful place. So instead of putting my focus on how hurt I was, I shifted my focus to how great God is and how much He loves me.”
