Litter started back in 2001 as a punk, metal, science duo. For the next 10 years we would continue to create 4 albums of original material that we thought was amusing, scientific, political, meaningful or any combination of these. It was not until 2014 when we found a suitable Drummer and Bassist. For the next few years we practiced songs from our catalogue. This album is a sampling of some of the bands favorites. Picking them was not easy. Here is a run down of the songs for all you readers out there. Ode To Marvin (track one) is based on a true story of a man that built his own tank and would not take no for an answer. Good tank driving music mixed with interludes of insanity. A good theme song to a personal apocalypse. Caretaker (track two) is about the grind of everyday life and not being able to get ahead. The two of us did care taking duties in our apartments supplement income. This was the result. Pour Me (track three) is an anthem to cherishing the good things in life, which is not wealth but people you like and music or whatever makes you happy. Dead City (track four) is a slow grimy tale of human extinction. We might kill ourselves but Earth will be there, some species will survive and evolve. At lease for the next four billion years or so. Short Stories (track five) is a song about excess. Too much alcohol, too much food at the fair, too much time spent on video games and doing nothing to change the outcome.
