Born Gerald L. Davis, Gerald was born in Ft. Worth, Texas. Born to Ellie Davis, he is the youngest of three boys. He is married to Danielle C. Davis, and has two girls, Savannah Davis and Aaliyah Davis :). He went to graduated Jarvis Christian College with a degree in English Literature and a minor in Music Theory. He has been serving in ministry in various roles as, Recording Artist, Worship Leader, Musician, Clinician, Choir Director, and Vocal Director for the last 13 years. He has ministered and served across the country. He has shared the stage with great Gospel and Christian artists such as Kirk Franklin, James Fortune, Ted Winn, Myron Butler, Javen, Trent Cory, Adam Ranney, Alvin Pope, to name a few. Currently he serves as one of the Worship Leaders and as Vocal director for his church, Victory Outreach San Diego vosd.tv, as well as Victory Outreach International. victoryoutreach.org For the last decade and counting, Gerald Davis served the body of CHRIST diligently, faithfully, and unnoticed, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. His love for GOD and seeing lives changed cast him in various positions throughout his music ministry. He has been vocal director, musician, and worship leader at his home church in Texas as well as his ALMA Mater, Jarvis Christian College, and now he and his wife now serve in one of the most impactful ministries in San Diego California and the world, Victory Outreach. Through the amazing plan of GOD, Gerald went from ministering to people who look, act, and responded, like him, to imparting into people and ministries all across the world. Through various international conferences held by Victory Outreach International, Gerald’s influence has literally gone across the world! The ministry of Gerald Davis was born out of a need to worship and exalt GOD totally, and those who experience his ministry have been changed. “Lead people to the throne of GOD, and then step out of the way.” This is the goal Gerald Davis has every time he takes a platform. “When worship starts to take the shape of our agenda, then it ceases to be worship.” Gerald’s desire to minister while taking the focus off of him and putting it on Jesus, comes shining through every song he preaches, teaches, sings or writes. He is someone who can go into any church and leave the audience wanting more of GOD. “Weather I’m in front of 25 people or 25,000; I’m that kid sitting on the milk crate singing to Jesus.” From songs like I Can’t Believe YOUR Grace, which brings awareness to our souls by stating to GOD, “ Every step I take away, I feel YOUR heart break” to songs like Can’t Wait, which encourages it’s audience with lines like, “I know HE really cares for me, HE became sin and died for me, there is not one song that does not connect it’s listener to the GOD that desperately loves them.
