The result is a fiery, fantasy-filled, loud/soft trans-generational psychedelic collaboration. Acid Mothers Guru Guru started with a spontaneous session in March 2006 in Nagoya, Japan. When the improvisation commenced, the passionate excitement was clear to all in the room, and it was then that this special psychedelic trio began. A Japanese tour was planned, an album was recorded, and this recording is the fruit of this mutual musical admiration. While all involved will admit that this is a dream collaboration, it was the Acid Mothers Temple guys who worshipped Guru Guru in their teens. Psychedelic Navigator features two generations of psychedelic rock joining forces for the twenty-first century.
