Years of recording and presenting location sound has led to this. Carefully edited location recordings from all over the world are recontextualized through the use of large numbers of notch filters and minimal multitracking. One moment you may feel as though you've been there, only to then experience a drifting disintegration of reality. This CD is about a feeling; the ominous approach of something from the past, an unforeseen sonic crackup at the speed of sound.
