With Morning Light, Brann continues his trademark soulful house blueprint unveiling a sultry collection of songs that combine organic instrumentation with electronic ingenuity by infusing modern Afro-Latin/Balearic rhythms and radiant jazz-tinged soundscapes. The lead single "I Hear You Dreaming" has a warm texture to it with dreamy chords, introspective lyrics and a rapturous melody (check out remixes by Larry Heard and Cottonbelly on the 12" release).
