Punchbowl is the final resting place for America’s veterans who served in Pacific campaigns, notably World War II. (ASCAP) Paul Schoberg – Piano, Electronic Music In 1986, Kīlauea lava flow from the Kūpaʻianahā vent destroyed and partly buried most of the town of Ka`anapali on the Big Island of Hawaii. The Ka`anapali Coast remains one of the most gorgeous coastlines in the State of Hawaii or, for that matter, anywhere in the world. The juxtaposition of intensely blue skies with white, puffy clouds against the deep blue of the ocean, the intensely green tropical vegetation, and the black volcanic rock is one of the most breath taking sights you will ever see. A sunrise at Ka`anapali is mystical, adding red and orange hues in the sky to the already world-class coastline. 10. Life is fragile, life is short. We can never love or honour those around us enough and their passing inspired this waltz, which paints a picture of a beautiful woman in a long, flowing white dress, waltzing into the distance, into forever, and finally with the final crescendo and final piercing high note, peacefully passing into heaven… 12.
