BirdyHop are a London-based musical duo, formed in 2013 by brothers James and Chris Goldsmith. Growing up playing music together on their 'pint-sized' guitars, early jamming sessions naturally evolved into collaborative songwriting and performance. The music comes out of a striking combination of influences and is characterised by searing guitar, dynamic instrumentation and close vocal harmonies, blended together to create melodic soundscapes. Writing music in many different formats, both together and in collaboration with other artists, has enabled BirdyHop to draw from a consistently strong creative base. The expansive, alternative style you hear in their latest work is, in part, a direct result of this and the last few years of intense live performance around London.
