简介

Jesus is my Lord! Here is my story. The vision for the Omnipotent God Songs of Praise was formed in my mind on March 21, 1991. While reading from the book of Habakkuk 2:1-4, the verses spoke to my soul. My instructions were very clear. The vision had to be written down. My task was to take certain passages of Scripture and put the words down in song form. Next, I had to put the words to music. Finally, I was to sing them. As I continue to study and prayed, two other passages of Scripture came to me. The first verse comes from the book of Matthew. The second verse comes from the book of Ephesians. Matthew writes, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 24:35).” The passage revealed to me that God’s word will always stand. My attention was turned to the apostle Paul. He recorded these words, “Speaking to yourselves in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19).” As I meditated on these words, my soul said, “Bless the Lord and all that is within me. Bless His holy name. (Psalm 103:1-2).” God had chosen me for such a time as this to be a yield-vessel for Him (John 15:16). He had anointed me to sing. He wanted me to praise Him through songs (Luke 4:18-19). Also, He had given me the gift of being a song writer. However, the Lord would place other people in my life to help me accomplish this task. The music would communicate to the world that God was all powerful. The songs would send a message that Christ’s grace is sufficient. The songs would tell people that God loves them in a special way. To help me in completing this assignment, God assigned the Holy Spirit as my agent. The Holy Spirit would be my comforter, my teacher, and my guide (John 14:26). However, Ephesians 5:19 stayed heavily on my mind. The more I prayed about it. The more of an understanding I got. The passage revealed to me that a yielded vessel is one who is spirit-filled. It was also clear that a yielded vessel submits his or her self to Lordship of Christ Jesus without question. Here are four results of being spirit-filled: (1) Believers speak to one another with psalms and hymns, and spiritual songs that exhort and instruct each other. (2) There is singing and the making of melody and praise for the Lord. (3) There is mutual submission one for another in the fear of God. (4) There is giving thanks always. The Holy Spirit enables the Christian to be grateful for all things. May the God of grace, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, hide His words in our hearts and souls so that we want sin against Him? May Christ always protect us from the evil one (John 17:15). May Christ sanctify us through His truth and His words (John 17:17).
