We are BriaAndChrissy, a singing duo in Atlanta who also happens to be a couple. We have been dating a little over a year and started singing together about 6 months ago. Bria, from Atlanta, has been singing since the age of 5 and playing piano since then as well. Chrissy has studied acting for about 9 years and started singing 2 years ago. She moved to Atlanta from Mississippi in 2008 to pursue her career and met Bria in 2011. Both of us eventually realized we wanted to find a way to perform together but also help others at the same time. Thus, BriaAndChrissy was formed. Bria is the primary writer and Chrissy comes up with harmonies and edits the videos.

Our main focus is LGBT equality and anti-bullying awareness, with a sprinkle of political humor. We make videos to give a voice to the voiceless and are fortunate to have reached the number of people we have. Our goal is to continue helping others and raise awareness about the fight for LGBT rights. We sell our songs on iTunes and half the proceeds we donate to Freedom to Marry, a leading organization in the fight for marriage equality. The more exposure we get, the more individuals we reach which is very rewarding. To know we are making a difference for someone, like the gay teenager who was tormented at school for years and after watching our channel told us he finally felt brave enough to go to his principal, or the parents who play our songs for their children, to show them that loving someone who's the same gender, or having same sex parents makes you just as lovable and normal as any other person, these examples are the kinds that inspire to keep singing and making videos.
