Early material from stars who helped create Hitsville U.S.A., like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and the Supremes, is showcased here, along with the work of many other major household names. Many of these early Soul cuts were instant favourites in London's Mod clubs. The rest of the world would soon catch up.
