Born and raised in the Western New York Finger lakes area Dan Ripley is, AMERICAN MUSIC! When asked how to described his music, people tend to use words like “country / rock / indie / blues”.. To him it’s simply AMERICAN MUSIC! Ripley’s influences are deep, but he keeps his music straight and to the point.

Music is as much a part of Dan Ripley’s life as breathing is. Drawing from his life’s experiences (both good and sad) Dan has a way of expressing those lesson’s learned that can relate to each listener on their own personal level.
