30 tracks of all original Rockabilly from Lance "Romance" Bakemeyer of the Hillbilly Hellcats. The two disc set includes 11 tracks of remastered Hillbilly Hellcats songs that Lance wrote, including one previously unreleased track by the Hillbilly Hellcats featuring Lance on Banjo. The song Dead Man's Party kicks off the album. This song has had over 500,000 downloads and is featured in 2 different movies - Dead and Breakfast (2005) and Dead Man's party (2010). Many of the other Hillbilly Hellcats tracks included are also used in Movies and TV. The Roadkill Cafe - HGTV, ABC's Wife Swap, and many Cooking TV programs. My Baby Drives Me Crazy is used in the Discovery Channel, VH1 and MTV's Trick My Truck. "Taz" Bentley is the featured drummer on all the Hillbilly Hellcats tracks. Taz was the drummer for the Reverend Horton Heat on the 1st 3 albums by the Rev. He has also played with Izzy Stradlin of Gun's and Rose's fame, the Burden Brothers, Sawyer Brown and Tenderloin. Besides the Hillbilly Hellcats, the 2 disc set includes guest artists (guitarists) such as Danny B Harvey, Jinx Jones, Jonny Barber, and Phil Deville. - Danny B Harvey has played with groups such as Headcat, (including Lemmy from Motorhead on Bass and Slim Jim Phantom of the Stray cats on Drums), The Rockats, Levi Dexter, 13 Cats and the Swing Cats among others. Jinx Jones has played with En Vogue, Roy Buchanan, Chuck Berry and many others. Jonny Barber has played with Spiv, The Velvet Elvis, Jonny Barber and the Living Deads and Jonny Barber and the Rhythm Razors. Phil Deville has played with Alex Chilton, Mustang Lightning and Cowboy Mouth. The remaining 18 tracks on the disc's have also had heavy usage in TV programming. Bad, Bad, Bad Tattoo is used in A&E's program about Bad Tattoo's. Drag Racin' was used for a time by the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) at race tracks around the USA, and King of the Highway has been used in a VH1 reality show. Lance "Romance" Bakemeyer has been playing "Rockabilly" "Blues" "Honky Tonk" "Bluegrass" "Rock" and "Country" on the stand-up slap bass for 30 years. He has played with the Hillbilly Hellcats, the Railbenders, the Calf Branders, Mustang Lightning, the Velvet Elvis, Junior Brown, John Denver, Danny B Harvey, Jinx Jones and many others.
