Richies passion for house music started in his early teens and finally purchased his first set of turntables at the age of 15 back in 1999. He was initially influenced by the likes of Frankie Knuckles, Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez and later Steve Lawler to name but a few. Richie has held residencies in his local town of Middlesbrough which included the very popular Reachin night alongside DJ Silky. It is only the last couple of years that Richie has started to delve deeper into the world of production His debut EP on Attic Jam delivers 3 Tasty House Cuts: How I Work is a sparse affair with chopped up & pitched down Vox samples and a funky bassline. Halon is a more percussive house track with the focus on the groove and great for early hours on the dancefloor!
