简介
This album was recorded during two cold winters in Minneapolis, MN by a group of friends who had seen love collapse the thin walls of their homes like an earthquake, and then rebuild them brink by brick. Songwriter and main member of The Brighton, Ben Rosenbush, explores the wreckage of love lost, finding musings on life along the way, returning in the end to find the surprise smile of new life and love culminating in the orchestral explosion of the last track. The key members of this album, Rosenbush, Miller, Eskola and Peterson, grew up in Duluth, MN together hashing out beats and half-written tunes in basements and fire escapes into the long night. Now based in Minneapolis, this album is the debut of their joint efforts.
