简介
Dj Cavem To Release New Video With International Recording Artist Cody ChesnuTT The video entitled, “Cool To Live” will release worldwide on Sept. 27, 2015, celebrating the three year anniversary of his album The Produce Section: The Harvest DENVER — This harvest moon marks the anniversary of Dj Cavem’s award-winning curriculum and album,“The Produce Section- The Harvest”. Since the album’s release in 2012, the founder of Eco HipHop’s message has traveled far and wide, and has been supported nationally by farmers, activists, top chefs, yogi’s, HipHop artists, and even The White House. To celebrate his success with the people, Dj Cavem plans to release a new music video, which is a remix from the latest album entitled, “Cool To Live”, featuring international recording artist Cody ChesnuTT and Denver, Colorado’s own Bianca Mikahn. The new single, which was recorded at Cherry Sound Studios, was released earlier this year and performed live with Cody ChesnuTT in front of thousands for the first time in March at at The New York Times Center for Tedx Manhattan following Dj Cavem’s Ted Talk on marketing environmental (Eco) HipHop and Culinary Wellness with his wife and Dj, Alkemia Earth. “The song is dedicated to my Grandmother Alice Washington and my Godmother Opalanga Pugh, who inspired me to use my art for transformation and social change.” says Cavem. “The song is called ‘Cool To Live’, because it is. In the video, my son plays me as a youth, walking through the 5 Points community that I grew up in, thinking about sustainable social change. He walks pass a youth penitentiary to an urban farm, transforming the community he walks pass. It really describes my message visually and the style I am moving in. This is my best video to date, and I am excited to share this project with the world.” The video was shot and co-directed by F4D Studios. Dj Cavem was recently featured in AfroPunk & the June/July issue of Taste of Home magazine, and recently performed at To Live and Dine in L.A., DreamForce in San Francisco, and headlined the Vegan Soulfest in Baltimore and D-Town Harvest Fest in Detroit.
