This is actually a partner recording to 'SULIS'. Sulis is an ensemble consisting of eminent classical musicians that were involved around 1996 in ground-breaking research and healing at Bristol Cancer Help Centre. The music is written by Celia Harper (founder) and Mezzo-soprano, specifically for the participants who are (including Celia): Michael Chance (founder) and countertenor- Robin Blaze, countertenor- Elizabeth Willcock, violinist,and Jacqueline Evill, soprano.

'Sulis' encourages the listener to be embraced by the sounds of its unusual instruments and haunting melodies, creating a musical space for personal reflection. Blending the traditional sounds of voice, violin and early harp with bells and the ethereal sound of Tibeten singing bowls, Harper creates an exotic atmosphere. It is tuneful and touching music with influences of early baroque and celtic.
