简介
Like water gushing out of the mountaintop, so is the "Under the Sun" riddim produced by Rally Up Music. The California based music label is pleased to release its latest riddim featuring reggae artistes from across several area codes. Following the first two compilations – “I-draw Riddim” that gave the breakout hit “Orange Peel” (Tuff Like Iron) and “The Spirits Anthem Riddim” that featured a popular tune ‘Habari’ by Jahdan Blakkamoore, Rally Up delivers the “Under the Sun” riddim with grace and gallantry. The mellow and choppy riddim was engineered by Jamaki de Khemist, with guitar, bass and composition by Byron Green. Eleven artistes are featured on the roots, steppaz, vintage rhythm: No Wonder - Toussaint Liberator and King Kanashi I (US-St. Croix) Chapel - Perfect Giddimani and Young Shanty (Jamaica-US) No War - Goldy (Jamaica) Hail H.I.M. - Kava Jah and Torch (Jamaica) Coronation - Keteis Oyonde (Jamaica) One Life - Ras Iba (St. Croix) Onward - Melame Gange (St. Croix) The Music - Leaf of Life (Jamaica) True Purpose - Nature Makonnen (Guyana) Trigger Happy - Jah Tidal (Guyana) Know Yourself - Ganjanero (St. Thomas, USVI) The musical prowess expressed by each artiste proves that good lyrics and a well-produced riddim is indeed a winning combination. Fusing digital with analog, the production reflects a rockers feel that selectors and fans alike would enjoy playing aloud. The compilation has worldwide appeal that lends to urgent messages such as Goldy's "No War" which seems like a direct response to the ‘war mongering’ political climate that world leaders systematically promote. On the song “No Wonder”, Toussaint the Liberator and King Kanashi I bring a soulful touch with a meaningful message of confidence. “Under the Sun” riddim is all set. It’s lights! Camera! Action!
