Bit of a mixed bag here. Tracks 1-5 were recorded between poker hands aboard the s/v Vagabond Virgin (tied up to the dock in Whangarei) with Sverre wearing the hat of record producer. Tucker had helped with the lyrics for track 4 back in Hawaii, and Sverre wrote all the music on track 5. I used to give a free CD to the first person who could identify the narrator on that track. Track 6 is a live take from when Tucker and I played on Redwood Radio in Redway (KMUD, Garberville) California, some chilly morning during harvest. Tracks 7-10 are straight from "Hitchhiker's Songbook" performed with San Francisco band RadioFreeWater (Jason Kadlec - drums, Pat Anderson - lead guitar, Ken Zwering - bass) at the View Studio in Belmont, California. (Bonus) Track 11 is an acoustic rendition of Sensatious, and was recorded by James Turle on my front porch up in Canada during the Convergence, still coming down from the full moon night before; one less goat.
