简介
‘Everything Has Changed in the World’ is the first album by the Philadelphia based 90’s Indie Rock band 'The Peace'. Recorded at The New Pit Annex Roving Mobile Psychedelic Recording Studio in South Philadelphia in late 1993 and early 1994, the album contains the socially conscious and environmentally friendly title track ‘Everything Has Changed in the World’, the 60’s psychedelic ‘Daniel’s Dream’ (summer of love anyone?), the lushly orchestrated ode to lost love ‘Emily’ and the up-tempo, electric-rock barn burner ‘Waiting Game’ (just listen to that bass line). The album generated considerable buzz for the young Philly band, who was offered a recording contract with the Australian based Makeshift Music in 1994. It provides a glimpse into the raw sound of a young Philly band on the rise. As with all recordings by the Peace, the band urges following as a listening guideline: "This recording emphasizes full dimensional stereophonic sound: To Achieve optimum stereo effect: USE HEADPHONES!"
