Ryo Ogihara, a talented guitarist who is active in the core of the Japanese jazz scene, chose soul music as the theme of this album. A simple three-piece band formed by Jun Miyakawa (org), who is at the forefront of the jazz scene, and Yasushi Fukumori (ds), who supports the band with a bold beat, and develops a unique sound that is a modern interpretation of soul music masterpieces. Their music, recorded like a casual session with no scores and no meetings, is natural and groovy. Please enjoy a comfortable and relaxing groove.
