Produced by noted Nashville-based producer Brian Speer, John enlisted the outstanding talent of pianist Roger MacNaughton and guitarist Joel Key in creating fresh, new arrangements of classic Christmas songs and soon-to-be favorite new songs. It includes guest appearances by Buddy Greene, Jeff Taylor, Tricia Walker, Allison Speer, Terry Franklin, Mike Allen, and Carlos Seise. From the tender, intimate arrangement of Silent Night (featuring a duet with Allison Speer) and the hauntingly beautiful Mary Did You Know (performed with its songwriter, Buddy Greene), to the upbeat Light of the Stable and O Come All Ye Faithful (driven by the creative rhythms of superstar percussionist Eric Darken), this project brings to life meaningful images of Christmas.
