AZUpubschool is a producer living in Kyoto, who represents the numerous group of Japanese artists infected with Chicago House and its most recent hybrids footwork, juke. His work grows a part of bigger and bigger popularity of footwork and juke in Japan and AZUpubschool himself is gradually becoming its significant representative. In his second EP, which is his debut in Sequel One, AZUpubschool chose the combination of stylistical variety and emotional warmth. The tempos oscillate from juicy 140 bpm ("Things") to footwork whirl ("Angel Whim", "Interval Efektive"), melodious motives are what dominates here. AZUpubschool skillfully moves between cheerful and sunny grooves ("Yall") and more transitory and melancholic atmospheres ("Outside"). "ANGEL WHIM" is a logical continuation of his debut "Lovely Her Lips" EP. Already back then one could hear this colourful and positive dose of energy, constantly enriched and developed in the newest release. "ANGEL WHIM" is going to be a perfect holiday illustration.
