简介

BIOGRAPHY “Now we’re travelin’ all around the world, rollin’ like a midnight train... We’ll always keep playin’ til our dyin’ day, Lord willin’ it’ll all pay off and we’ll be on our way…” FLYNNVILLE TRAIN: A band of brothers in music who produce a sound and a show that will hit fans like a freight train. Flynnville Train is God-fearin’, women lovin’, workin’ man, stick-to-your ribs music with twangy, dirty guitar riffs, and nostalgic vocals as gritty as a long dirt road. Built in Indiana, Flynnville Train hails from Middletown, a small town, middle of nowhere part of the country with a big heart and their music is no exception. Boasting with true grit, the Midwest group lifts the listener up and drops them smack-dab in the sweat-soaked South, then takes a hard turn toward Nashville with their country and blues-inspired rock. With each member bringing different influences to the mix, ranging from Waylon Jennings to Jimi Hendrix, Flynnville Train brings country home. Channeling an era of southern rock reminiscent of the 1970’s, Flynnville Train brings a vinyl vibe to the digital age… No smoke and mirrors, Flynnville Train is as live on tape as they are on stage. Leaving the station more than a decade ago with miles and miles of road behind them, and hours upon hours seated at the writing table or standing on stage, four men are aboard Flynnville Train--Brian Flynn (lead vocals), Brent Flynn (lead guitar/vocals), Damon Michael (Bass), Tommy Bales (Drums). Full-grown men playing full-grown music, the group is more than the sum of their parts; the Flynnville Train blend is like an 18-year bottle of scotch. With a sound that is rock-steady strong and goes down easy, these roadtested, Indiana-bred warriors wear like an old pair of boots that are comfortably “lived-in.” Flynnville Train is hard-living optimism—made clear in their album REDEMPTION. A group of guys who have experienced their fair share of trouble and pain, the overall tone of their album speaks to their dream of making music “their way.” “I think we connect with the working class, because we are the working class. And we feel good music is good music, PERIOD!” —Brian Flynn, Lead Singer Radio Is Talking About “Preachin’ To The Choir” “Wow! Talk about a stone cold smash! It goes right down the middle of our demographic and hits them where they live. I wish I had a catchy quote, but I don't. I just think it's the best song I've heard since the latest Miranda Lambert”. J. D. Cannon – WFMS Radio, Indianapolis “I think this song will really speak to country fans. If you are worried about the lack of "real" country music on the radio, "You're Preachin’ To The Choir." This song is going to help solve that problem!!! “ Don Brake – PD/ WHWK-Binghamton, NY “Flynnville Train is BACK! And with a timely tune that would make the boys in Lynyrd Skynrd PROUD. From the opening guitar licks to the end these boys sing out what we're all feeling and thinking about the way the world is for us today. Great tune, extremely relatable and guaranteed to light up your phones!" Jim Quinton – MD/WPPL Radio, Blue Ridge, GA REDEMPTION is straight up, foot-stompin’, whiskey-soaked, gravel flyin’, country rock. A collaborative effort that is 100% ironclad, proud and true, it is evident, from start to finish, this is no runaway train; it’s right on track. “It’s an honest expression of who we are and the music we love. We like to create melodic vocals, deep grooving rhythm and back it with soulful singing guitars.” —Tommy Bales, Drummer To capture the group’s driving musical texture, they headed to Barrick Recording Studio in the hills of Glasgow, KY where LP rules still apply. “We’ve been recording there for more than 10 years; it’s a welcoming, feel-at-home room with warm tones and good vibes,” lead guitar player Brent Flynn introduced. The band locked down, through night and day, to “wood shed” the songs. “We’d write the songs and then record them just like they did in the 60s and 70s.” The four laid down the tracks live; playing their parts head-to-head and toe-to-toe—the music sang magically. “There was no clock on the wall when we recorded. We just got our groove on and played. We never had to re-cut a song.” —Damon Michael, Bass Believers in the band and their music, John, Sarah, Dan and David Barrick, owners of the recording studio and executive producers on the project, launched their family-owned label, Next Evolution Records, as an outlet to introduce the new music from Flynnville Train. “Brent, Brian, Damon and Tommy have a love for the music and they live it. They play with heart. We’re all family and partners in making a contribution to the music— it’s music that should be heard.” —David Barrick, Co-Producer Previously seated on the Show Dog Records roster, an imprint known for producing knock-down-dragout, in-your-face tunes, Flynnville Train remains in the vein to whole-heartedly embrace the “finer side” of redneck livin’ with Grandma’s home cookin’ (“Home”), prime seats at NASCAR (“Turn Left”), and raising hell at a local and renowned honky-tonk, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge (“33 Steps”). On the other side of the tracks, REDEMPTION reveals the guys’ faith in mankind, belief in an honest day’s work and a greater power. “Friend of Sinners” is a slow-tempo cry for help from a man who has broken every rule, lost every friend and fears it is too late to turn it all around. “On Our Way” finds the group road-weary and blurry-eyed but remaining steadfast-- they wouldn’t want to live any other way. “Alright,” an up-tempo ‘livin’-inthe- moment’ jam, sums up the working man’s viewpoint that there ain’t nothin’ wrong with “playin’ as hard as you work.” [A Flynnville Train motto!] A band that stands behind their mission and their music, REDEMPTION is revealing. “Brent, Brian, Damon and Tommy have a love for the music and they live it. They play with heart.” “We’ve put a lot of years into our career and our experiences are what shaped this record. The music recaptures and reaffirms days gone by.” —Tommy Bales, Drummer Reviving a tried and true, time-tested artistry, Flynnville Train rides the rails to seamlessly weave their sound with the tradition of southern rock heroes like Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ-Top—uniting hungry generations of all ears. It's music that never tires; it gets into your soul and moves your spirit. Long awaited and right on time, Flynnville Train is music worth its weight.
