This track was created in memory of a lady named Mary. Mary was a resident at the residential home, and I cared for her in her last days of life. She took her last breath in my arms and it was my first experience with somebody passing away right in front of my eyes. Mary would often fill my days with joy; our conversations usually had no sense to them but I'll remember them forever, and her 'Maryisms'. A kind, intelligent and well-spoken individual, Mary was a fantastic painter and I was very fond of her. I hope I brought some comfort to her in her last days and that wherever her soul is, she is at peace.
