Compilation of tracks by Suburbass, Labo 14, Weser (Narkotek), Keygen (Kaotik), and K plan released on vinyles from 2006 to 2008 on "Pure mixture Records". BIOGRAPHY SUBURBASS : Joel Tambour a.k.a. SUBURBASS, singer and Punk follower in the late 70's discovers electronic music with bands such as Kraftwerk, Visage, Klaus Schulse, Tangerine Dream, J.M. Jarre, Herbie Hancock or Grand Master Flash. & first contact with a machine : KorgMS20. Mid 80s, the craze for the electro music such as new wave and Goth (Alien Sex Fiend, Clan of Xymox, Cure, Joy Division, Virgin Prunes, Front242,Fad Gadget, Kas Product,DAF,New Order...) confirms his interest for the electronic experiment alongside Metal & Alternative rock tendencies. Then comes the techno-pop turning point but his very first appreciation of AcidHouse music will be particularly selective, as only a few artists such as M.A.R.R.S, Altern8, 4Hero, Cybotron, Technotronic, Snap, Prodigy will definitely impress him. With the 90s comes the tekno..d massive wave and his predilection are Dave Clarke, Johannes Heil, Colin Dale, D.A.V.E The Drummer, Neil Landstrumm, Liza'n Eliaz, Mental Theo, Adam Beyer, Sven Vath, Joey Beltram, Christian Vogel, Kriss de Montpellier, Autechre, Orbital, LFO... At the time, still singing in a ska band, Joel encounters the very firsts rave-parties,in particular those of Spiral Tribe. The "freetekno sound" will resolutely be adopted and developed, & Curley,Simon/Crystal Distortion & Seb/69DB from Network23 became his first deep influences . 1996, first live set battle with Alex K/Tekmics. May 1997: first Teknival live set on « Sound Conspiracy » sound system featuring Simon/Crystal Distortion + Marc/4Q/Total Resistance + Kathy (Facom Unit) + Mc Unwuttu ... UFO/Heretik... & until this time,used to play every weekends in all events he can... Now totally addicted to the repetitive beats,travels through Europe (Germany, Spain, Italy, UK, Holland, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria...) with his faithful live set (machines only) and delivers a nostalgic diversity built upon his numerous sonic experiences. And then played with the large massive electronic scene as Lisa'n Eliaz, Tonio, Laurent Garnier, Manu Le Malin, Torgull, Hellfish & Producer, Network23 crew, Dima aka Vitalic, Heretik, Miss Kittin', Miloch, Juan Atkins, Infrabass, Jeff Amadeus, Fky, Radium, Sycomor, Pushy!, SpeedFreak, Chris Liberator, Ophidian, Sterling Moss, ThermoBee, Dj Pseudonym Maniaks, MSD, Signal Electrique, Spicy Box, Jack De Marseille, Miss Daisy, Congo Natty, Lunatic Asylum, Willyman, Mempamal, Banditos, Narkotek, Dj Kraft, Miss Helium, Metek Crew, Alif Sound System, Joshua, Radiobomb, Speedyq's, Vinka, Mat/Weasel Busters, Woxo, Gotek, Yale... (& a lot of other artists & sound systems...)... His liveset is a crossover between,tekno,hardtechno,schranz,hardtek, hardfloor & hardcore with some reminiscences of samples from metal, EBM,punk,ska,hiphop...sometimes cheesy & ugly, or more dark, mental & deep, acid & spacies... often a tribute at one second art he like, the cinema... and throught his production now, try some new sound experiences like electro-tech-minimal, downtempo-electronica, dub, breakcore, heavy techno,... BIOGRAPHY LABO 14 : Born and bred in Normandy, JT has been immersed in music since his earliest childhood. Aged 5 he began playing drums which he later learnt formally for over 15 years. Aged 8, in addition to the drums, he also began playing the piano. When he was 14, he formed his first rock band with whom he created his first musical arrangements. In 1999 he combined electronic music to his work and ventured in his own musical universe which he has kept exploring ever since. Soon passion took over and he eventually gave up studying to dedicate his time to the making of demos he sent to various labels. Tekita production from M2R group soon replied. In 2002, he moved from the North to the South of France and settled in Toulouse nicknamed “the Pink Town” where he created Labo 14 with Nello, his best friend from Los Angeles – son of Rob Frabonni producer of the Rolling Stones-. A month later, Tekita Production gave them the go ahead, signing them for a first vinyl which gave JT the chance to see his first composition released. To this day, Labo 14 has had over 100 pieces pressed on vinyl and will soon have sold 5000 products through different labels such as Tekita, Fsl , Narkotek, ES production and Le diable au corps. This band has also had the opportunity to perform throughout Europe during major events such as The Electromind in Montpellier, The X massacre in Prague and The Karnage nights in Toulouse. Today the duo is having his first electro vinyl released under a new “alias” as they are influenced by new styles which help them to assuage their craving for music and shared experiences. BIOGRAPHY WESER : Weser (Narkotek) was always passionate about electronic music, his first raves in 1996 were a real revelation for him. That same year he made his début on the decks and met Guigoo, Seno and Kefran, with whom he co-founded the following year the Narkotek crew. 1998 saw the real beginning of the sound system story with the organization of their first raves in the Paris region, of their participation in the teknivals and as Guests in various parties. Weser mixed on these occasions the predominant style of that period: acid-core, which later evolved with the rave sound into tribe and tribe-core. Encouraged by his artist friends, Weser started to compose electronic music in the year 2000. In 2002 he published his first tracks under the Narkotek labels in a slow tribe style, very noisy and with acid-techno sounds, making him a success with the public of the underground scene. Athough he had been contacted by a number of producers, he finally collaborated with Nout, the famous producer of the label « Diable au corps », to produce a new label « Mi-ange, mi-démon » in parallel with his Narkotek productions. In 2004, he created with Seno the « 404 rec » label, oriented tribe-core. After producing a dozen vinyls under labels such as Narkotek, Mi-ange,mi-démon ,Traffic rec, Kisdé, 404 rec, and appearing on compilations such as "Le diable au corps", "teknival", Weser naturally went into live performances to share his music and to set fire to dancefloors with the rythm of his own creations. He found it fulfilling to appear live with his very own tribe-core full of bolting rythmics and influenced by acid-techno, jungle, hip-hop, etc.. Weser got a lot of bookings and started to move around Europe rapidly and appeared in towns like Paris, Marseille, Rome, Milan, Bologna, Barcelona, Brussels, Prague..... He was present at raves and festivals (Electromind, Montagood...), in clubs (La Locomotive-FR, La Sala campus-SP, Villaggio Globale-IT, Abaton-CZ...) or in exhibition parks (Mission 30Kw-Paris FR, X-massacre-Prague CZ …). He appeared with renowned artists of the European hardteck-hardcore scene, e.g. Crystal distorsion, 69 db, Lenny Dee, Speed freak, Radium, Manu Le malin, Matt Weasel buster, Maissouille... With his foreign appearances and a style of his own, Weser has become one of the essential actors of the European hardtechno scene. BIOGRAPHY KEYGEN : Keygen Kaotic Fan of electronic music since the beginning of the 1990's, Keygen found in the underground techno scene the spirit and style of music he likes. He joined the sound system kaotic with which he organized many raves in the south of France and throughout Europe. From 1995 to 2000 he participated in the organization of parties with sound systems from south france At that time, he performed solely as a DJ and distilled mixes from hardcore to tribe, acid, drum n bass, etc.. Then in 2000 he decided to go live and bought machines like the Akai mpc, which became his favourite machine. He then ventured into the production of vinyls. He started by collaborating with the label war, then le diable au corps, astrofonik, underground techno, etc.. In 2004, during a tour in the Czech Republic with artists like Mat Weasel Buster, Nout Suburbass MSD, Beuns, the YESPAPA crew was born! This had a resolutely ultra positive and happy frame of mind which influenced and characterized all his future lives. Now living permanently in Prague, Keygen plays throughout Europe and the rest of the world in clubs and festivals, delivering an effective and definitely happy live, mixing melodies and remixes but always spiced with a hard rythm and an ultra powerful kick, defined as the biggest kick on the hardtekno scene by his fellow artists. Since 2008, he plays regularly in Versus with Mat Weasel Busters. BIOGRAPHY K PLAN : K-plan began to play in 2000 a strong hardtechno liveset during free parties in the West of France. Then, he became the resident of the club "Le Caf Conc" since 2002 and played with artists like Dr Macabre, Lobotomix or Yoni Khan. He now plays in France and abroad (Spain, Czech Republic, Japan...) his liveset. In 2004 he found his own label "Hypotek" with strong hardtechno releases.
