简介
Shir Khan presents his favourite jams in the form of a new series on Exploited entitled: BLACK JUKEBOX. The first edition features a great mix of Deep House, Slo-Mo, Disco, Soul and Hip Hop. Hamburg's Doctor Dru & Adana Twins lead the way with their slo-mo housed-up boogie-soul joint "Juicy Fruit". Alongside it "Supreme" dips into housier territory with the primitive scratching and rising piano lines giving proceedings an 80s sensation soaked with twilight niceties. Both tracks are presented it in a nicely recut fashion reminiscent of the great Tiger & Woods. Label regulars Homework contribute 2 more classic reworks which will be only available via Vinyl. Early support by Round Table Knights (MTP), Axel Boman (Pampa), CatznDogs (Mothership), Jesse Rose (MTP), DJ Sneak, Soul Clap (Wolf&Lamb), Jazzanova (Sonarkollektiv), Tiefschwarz (Souvenir), Trickski+Till Von Sein (Suol), Matthew Dear (Ghostly), A-Trak (Fools Gold), Sinden (Grizzly), Mercury (Gomma), Hector Moralez (Fries&Bridges/Robsoul), Oliver$ (MTP), Cedric Maison (Hypercolour/Glass Table), Michael Reinboth (Compost), David Keno (Kindisch), Acidpauli (Console/Notwist), Grecoroman+Sound Pellegrino DJ-Team, Kasper Bjoerke (Mirau). SINDEN: " I love the originals of both of these tracks. Been playing the Juicy Fruit out for a few months now. Great first edition." DJ MAG: "With the simplicity of speeding up, judiciously editing and filtering a breakdown, this result would have sat in a Paradise Garage playlist as easily as it will do at Berlin's Panoramabar."
