简介
D-Eazy was born in the Inland Empire, California in 1981. D-Eazy often drew inspiration from Hip-Hop music to escape the reality of the streets. By the age of 10, his school teacher encouraged him to continue his poetry writing, putting down what he would see on the streets of his neighborhood into a poetry format & eventually he learned how to turn that same writing into music lyrics. D-Eazy always had a love/passion for music. He was captivated by street poetry and started writing it too. Since as early as he can remember D-Eazy lived "the average thug life." He did what he had to do growing up in the streets of Southern California, there were no out of the ordinary gimmicks for him. One of the founding members of N.W.A., Eazy E influenced D-Eazy by living what he was spitting and embodied the "OG" persona. In '95 at the age of 14 he was infatuated with Gangsta Rap. Started really want to do music during the East coast, West Coast Beef. D-Eazy took offense and wanted to prove the East Coast was wrong in saying that the West Coast had no talent. D-Eazy's name came from people calling Dez, which is short for Desmond and broke it up to D.E.Z. which is pronounced D-Eazy. After relocating to New Mexico in 2001 from California, D-Eazy began recording in local studio's in Northern New Mexico with other local artists working towards a record deal. In 2001 D-Eazy saw his homies actually go to studios and recorded their music. They convinced him that he had skills, but after recording he hated his voice so much that he would go back to the studio to perfect it. Each time he records he hates his voice a little less and achieves to perfect it. D-Eazy went on to release two independent underground albums with "TOPP Clique" from 2001-2003. His group split and he branched off to start his solo career. In 2003, D-Eazy and Juan Montoya created Mic Check Entertainment and released an album called ebonix. After mutual thoughts the two went their different ways. D-Eazy then joined Undefined Records from 2004-06. He didn't release any tracks, but recorded a few. He left the label to try and find his own path in music. D-Eazy independently did his own thing, mostly writing "Street Akademikz" and looking for instrumentals for it. In 2005, D-Eazy rejoined force with Juan Montoya to create G-Style Recordz. D-Eazy got his break in 2007, when he heard an advertisement for Crank It Up Productions on the radio. Juan Montoya his previous manager, made contact with Alejandro "Dro" Gomez of Crank It Up Productions and worked on the recording of "Street Akademikz" the mixtape in 2008. In April of 2010, D-Eazy also released his second mixtape with Crank It Up Productions in titled "Street Hustle" hosted by DJ 12 Tribe of Kiss 97.3 fm in Albuquerque, NM. D-Eazy wrapped up recording his debut album in June of 2010, in titled "Street Lingo" under Crank It Up Productions with features from Young Buck, TQ, Crooked I, Willy NorthPole, Chris Notez, Yogee Brown, Lil Pat, J-Mar, David Wade, Romero of Clika One, and Reno Brown. Production by Dirty & Lil Pat. Since completion of "Street Lingo," D-Eazy has been back in the studio recording his "I Am Tha Streetz" album. Upon completion of this new album he plans to release it early 2012. With a mainstream feel to this album D-Eazy has still found a way to keep his original gangsta rap ways incorporated into it, while giving his fans a taste of his versatlity. During that time he has also recorded his first official music video for the song "All I Wanna Do Iz Ball." In a little over a month after the videos release it ha topped 50,500 views on youtube. D-Eazy is constantly working on his craft to make it the best as possible for his fans and his pursuit of perfection.
