Rough Gentlemen is an indie rock & roll band from Montreal, founded in 2013 by Jonathan Laverdure, Simon Deschamps, and Kevin Morency. Shortly after their first demo release in 2014, the band started hitting venues all around the province. Their main goal was to share and promote rock anyway they could. The band settled to find members with the same goals and love for music as they did. After hard work and research Jessy Mamano came up to the table on bass. Kevin and Jessy had shared the stage together numerous times in previous bands which added a great chemistry to the line-up. In early 2015, Charlie Cayouette also joined the band as full time drummer, finally putting an end too the never ending story of session musicians. Rough Gentlemen was then ready to attack Freq Shop Studios to record there first self titled EP. After working for the band as sound technician, Simon Deschamps came back in the group as a full time percussion and keyboard player. With a solid and bonded line-up, Rough Gentlemen is now ready to get its name out and conquer crowds and fans from all over.
