简介
The Stitches are an all original American Chicago based Punk Rock Band circa 1983 - 1990 that played the thriving Chicago Punk Rock scene and released some independent recordings locally. The group initially started out as Slit n the Stitches and shortly became known as simply The Stitches. This collection of original songs was recorded and mixed in the mid 80's at Soto Sound Studios in Evanston Illinois. over 3 decades later mastered by John Horwich of International Phonograph Inc. and Remastered by Danny Leake of Urban Guerillas Engineering Chicago Illinois. This music is being shared as a time capsule project. The Members on the Hell on the Homefront release are the Late Great Jamie Robinson on vocals, Jim Griese on Bass, Brian Washington all guitars and Rick Allen on Drums. Backing vocals by the Stitches. The band is multi racial with a diverse blend of influences ranging from the British Punk Rock invasion, American Hardcore, Funk, Reggae, Thin Lizzy, Soul, Blues and Alternative music.
