All the cuts are engaging in some way or another, which is something Don Cutec’s always provide. Raw vocals seemingly extends the invite to sing along, and the fat, reverberating bass, glimmering chimes, and cutting percussion makes this cd a perfectly adrenaline pump mixtape to ride with. However, a few songs into the album, something is to be noticed. It’s nothing really negative, necessarily. Yet, it’s definitely not positive. By the time you hit the eighth track, “Westcoast Flow,” it hits you like a train. Obviously Don is a lyrical beast, with his upper-kick authoritative voice and uptempo semi-energetic delivery played and flow.
