I was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, and started doing music in the 11th grade at the age of 17. At this young age I did not know Jesus. I had heard of Him, but knew not His standing as I do today. My lifestyle reflected this, as I spent the majority of my days getting high, drinking, fornicating and simply feeding my flesh off the influences of the world. Until one night while I slept, I was attacked by a wicked spirit. I immediately awoke, heart beating fast and dropped to my knees. I cried out to Jesus whoever He was, and begged Him for forgiveness. I knew it was my own willful choices that had led me astray and taking myself out from under His protection. This scared me, so I asked Him to change me. As disobedient as I had been, He heard my cry. Soon after, I began to develop a hatred for the things I was doing, and the Lord quickly began to reveal Himself to me; so much that I couldn't help but trust Him. I realized that my music was not uplifting my listeners, nor pleasing to Jesus. So I started to write the things He would give me, revelations about His heart and will for His people, His love and forgiveness, His hatred toward sin and His soon return. Not long after, a buddy of mine encouraged me to enter a talent show where I first performed these songs and ended up winning first place. It was at that point I became aware of the gift the Lord had given me. And there was no way I could go back to worldly writings. I served a new Master now, whose name is Jesus. I am far from perfect, but my mission is clear: to be a vessel for the Lord Jesus, to gather His lost sheep, give them His True Gospel through music and help prepare them for what is to come.
