The core of the Faculty is made up of two long time friends Josh Levine and Jerrett Johnson. Growing up together in a small town in central California these two have been making music together since junior high. They now combine their passion for music which infuses hip hop, rock and roll, and funk into what they have tagged as "Indie Hip Rock." #I.H.R. "We want our music to not only sound good but also nourish the soul," said Josh Levine. Josh Levine moved to Los Angeles six years ago to persue his dream in film making and is now working as a Producer/Director for Time Warner. Levine is currently involved in numerous productions including but not limited to documentaries, sitcom pilots, and music videos. Josh's work has been recognized regionally by the California Film Awards and most recently the Telly's. Jerrett Johnson resides in Visalia, CA with his family. A father by day and an excellent lyriscist by night. JJ brings a soulful funkadellic element to The Faculty. "Music is about touching the soul and making people smile. That is what we are hoping to accomplish," said Jerrett Johnson.
