MEDIA ADVISORY For Immediate Release SONGWRITER DEBUTS NEW CD Larry Jung (pronounced Young) is a multi-talented performer. He has appeared in films, music videos and Addy award winning commercials. Now, it is time to add a new credit to Larry Jung’s impressive resume’- that of songwriter. Larry has just released a CD featuring 13 new and different compositions, the likes of which you have never heard before. According to Jung, “I’ve always wanted to take a shot at musical composition and finally decided it was now or never. I put together a couple of songs and performed them for area musicians. The response was overwhelming. Before I knew it I had some of the best musicians in the area volunteering their services. Joining me on my CD, and encouraging me to write more”. Critics who have reviewed the material have been deeply impressed with the spectrum of material that ranges from pop to country, swing to jazz, rock to blues with tender ballads tossed in. Added Jung, “The title ‘What’s a Genre?’ Sums up the CD, once you listen you’ll understand what I am trying to accomplish.
