"No place on earth" was written about the journey I took with my wife back in 1986 to the Florida Keys. We came down to visit Cynthia's brother Alan and Jewell in Fort Lauderdale and proceeded to travel south to the Keys. I was absolutely blown away at the beauty of the Keys and after stopping at a few of the local bars I realized that I could make my living there as well. The rest is history. I've been here ever since, have a home and daughter here, and they're gonna bury me here as I wrote on another track I wrote for this album "Rock Harbor"
