Part one of a collection featuring Rennie Foster's most notable remixes. This set includes RF's rework of "Game One" by Infiniti aka Juan Atkins and Orlando Voorn, originally released on vinyl through NightVision, as featured in Ben Klock's set for Boiler Room. Also on decks is Rennie's dub version of Pete Grove's "No Relief", released originally through Noah Pred's Thoughtless imprint. This is a sleeper weapon, hard to get the full effect from a short 30 second sample, trust us, you need it. A huge, tripped out, breakdown, takes abstract dub techno to the furthest reaches until a monster drop busts in featuring an otherworldy "space siren?" and tribal gallop. Trust us. Get it. Rennie and Aaron Carl made the muched loved "Savior" single right before Aaron passed, but have you heard their first, lesser known colab? Check Rennie's fierce version of "I Refuse" originally released on Aaron's Detroit based label, Wallshaker. Finally... vinyl so rare that Rennie doesn't even have a copy (true!) this remix of "Hof Ter Lo" by Swayzak was originally released on 240 Volts. Finally, the secret weapon, "Dependency Tendency" taking an infectious Bob Rogue melody into extra-raw, cut-up, DJ tool territory. This track has done some heavy damage on Tokyo dance-floors.
