This album was over two years in the making, as much anticipated by Dianne herself as by her fans. It is a dream realized after years of having the desire and the songs burning in her heart. Until now, her venues for expression have been small groups of friends, and church worship teams.

Though she hasn't hit the coffeehouse scene, this is one place where her music would fit really well. Each member of her recording band, all natives of Traverse City, MI, was handpicked for their unique talents. Melodic combinations of Acoustic guitar, Electric Guitar, Violin & mandolin join steady bass and drums to create a pleasing, sing-able set of songs.

Songs were inspired by the loves of her life: God, husband & daughter; her own life struggles and joys with faith and relationships; and also from some of her favorite authors: CS Lewis, John Eldredge, and the Psalmists.

She definitely has something to say. "Somewhere Along the Way," a line from one of her songs, describes the new freedom and rest she has found over the course of this project's journey. The cd arrives just in time for her move from Michigan to South Carolina, where she plans to continue writing and recording songs that touch people's hearts.
