Darnell Smitherson, a young upcoming rapper from Harlem, New York City, embodies an aggressive, poetic character. Smitherson began his career as a producer and poet, eventually surfacing as a rapper with a different kind of story to tell, in a similar vein of other east coast rappers including MF Doom, Big L, and Nas.
