King Tears creates :: Melodic, foot stompin' grooves; chaingang chants with blues rhythms; and lush emotional soundscapes. King Tears took their name from a local mortuary service. Some people think they are an acoustic/electric duo, Some think they are industrial goths because Rope Chair Needle is three different forms of capital punishment. Some people think they are a five piece full rock n' roll band, Some people think they are a guitar/drum duo ala The Gories, But what they are is King Tears. The Title of RCN comes from the common sight of road-side chaingangs working along the roads and in the fields of Brown's native state Alabama.
