I always dwell on all of those who suffer in third world countries because of their oppressive governments. So, my way of coming to their aid is by promoting rebelliousness in "I Rhyme for the People." After watching several close friends fall victim to addiction, I felt obligated to do something about it. "Developing Man" became a cautionary tale of sorts, highlighting the adverse effects of drug use. The life of a bachelor isn't as glamorous as some may think. With health issues such as disease to take into consideration, I became increasingly disinterested in this lifestyle. These issues are heavily discussed in the song "Feminine Side." "Shallow Water" is a song that exposes the hazards involved with plastic surgery and steroid use. Also, this is the first single off the album. A music video has been release via social media networks as well as my official web site. Showing pride for my home state through music was something I've always wanted to do. "Home Sweet Home" does just that. Born in Denver, Colorado and raised in the surrounding area, it was only a matter of time before I placed my elevated state on the musical map. Living the life of a middle class man, I quickly noticed how valuable the smallest things are. This realization led me to write the appropriately titled "Small Things." While watching the media regularly demonize Islam, I felt a need to expose some truth on this beautiful religion. "Faith" was the result. Also, another goal was to increase my own faith, which slips from time to time.
