简介
This CD is a gumbo of jazz music and blues and funk music with vocals. Many of theses songs were created for indie film soundtracks. Most of the films and productions were never released. The title track Wlliamsburg bridge features Johnny Long on Tenor sax. Johnny, a mercury recording artist, has toured with artist such as BB King and Wilson Picket. The track Deelcie features the master guitar work of the late great Bill Morano--an obscure east coast guitarist who studied with legends Charlie Banocos and Mike Stern. Bill was a unique creative musical force and his work went vastly unrecorded. Chocolate Thunder features the lyric work of Baltimore's unknown poet legend T. T. Tucker. This track was slated for an indie film of the same name. The CD is rounded out with contribution of vocals by Dane Paul Russel--probably best know for his harp work with Bobby Parker; the vocals of Joe Keys; the guitar work of Ronnie Edwards; and the piano and organ work of Steven Charles Cecil--a musician who has toured with Bobby Parker, Sherman Robertson, and Little Jimmy King.
