This effort is the first from this assembly of red hot pickers. Blackstrap is clearly anchored in the roots of upbeat bluegrass and provides songs that tell stories reminiscent of modern day folk tales. Throw in a couple nods to some familiar bluegrass standards and this Album will have you singing along in your car along lonely highways, likely driving faster than you should.
