The music is inspired by the formation of Pangaea, the super continent present on Earth 300 million years ago. Many of the track names derive from areas of Pangaea. Using layered synths, pulsating beats and minimal vocals, the music evokes dramatic scenes of nature's power. The album is divided into three movements - Land, Sea and Air - of three tracks each. Two tracks feature vocals by legendary godmother of Japanese electronica, Coppe (www.sweetrice.com). The music was also used as part of a collaboration in the contemporary dance performance, 'Intracellular Memories', with choreographer Saya Tamagawa's Synapse dance company (www.synapsebody.com). Her voice is featured on several tracks too.
