Singer/Songwriter Dennis Bryan has completed a new and much anticipated CD and a CD single! After playing virtually every nightclub in the L.A. area, he finally settled down to record a CD with most of his own material. Last seen in Beijing, China and on the Sydney Opera House stage singing Masquerade, Dennis has also been in the musical WORKING, a review of Harold Arlen songs called SWEET AND HOT, played Jesus in a concert version of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and Dominique in the world premiere of an original Rock Opera entitled, KNIGHT OF THE DARK. Although his style is mostly Pop/R&B, he can sing and write all styles of music. Dennis was involved with Bard In The Yard, a Long Beach based Shakespeare Company and wrote an original song, WAKE NOT THE DEAD for their treatment of Bram Stoker's "DRACULA". In addition, he had the privilege of having a full orchestral arrangement created from his song YOU MAKE ME SHINE which is on his TAKE ME TO YOUR LOVE CD. This new "CD single" is an eclectic group of tunes, two of which Dennis wrote. The first, JUST ANOTHER CHRISTMAS, dates back to a time when Christmas wasn't always the happiest of seasons when it involves a breakup. The 2nd is the favorite Peanuts tune, CHRISTMASTIME IS HERE, recorded w/live musicians for that jazzy nightclub feel and finally a bonus track from "Dracula", WAKE NOT THE DEAD/FOR THE LIFE OF ONE. A special treat, this song recalls a Phantom of the Opera-like quality. Although not a Christmas song, it's special rock opera-like style was a must include. Recently Dennis was featured on the local cable network performing and talking about his music. He continues to perform in and around the Long Beach, California area at places like Birds of Paradise, Hot Java, La Traviata & Club 49.
