Madison, Wisconsin's old-time/Americana/folk-rock trio calicoDrifters has released its second full-length CD entitled "Takin' On The Rain". This new collection of thirteen original songs is a follow-up to their critically acclaimed first CD, "Dreams Are The Ponies We Ride" released in 2006.

In this age of single-song downloads and cherry-picking favorites from iTunes and other digital media outlets, calicoDrifters has crafted a recording that hearkens back to the days of project albums.
