We call this organic jazz because we wrote the songs without any preconceptions except to let it the creativity flow and let the music unfold and grow naturally, organically. The result is a mix we never planned on; part jazz, but with a pop flavor, part African and Latin with a world music, rock and spiritual vibe too. A strong, fast-paced musical commentary on the pace of 21st century life opens the set, and an ethereal orchestral piece closes the journey. In between we look at where we are as people, as inhabitants of this Earth, as beings trying to learn, to grow, to be grateful and wanting to be free.
