Travis Wilson I am a retired teacher in Greensboro, NC. For more than 31years I have taught middle school children to learn, improve, set goals, and chase their dreams. The whole time, I knew that my passion was music, which I did nothing about. It took a homeless person to convince me to start playing my saxophone again, after 15 years of inactivity. It took an alcoholic, who was on the verge of suicide, to convince me that I was the one to complete these tasks, rather than helping everyone else to achieve their dreams. His exact words were: “Travis, you need to step out front, where God designed you to be. Before God uses a second string person, He will create a new creature!” Needless to say that thought stayed in my mind for years. But still I pursued many other jobs, before I finally revisited the saxophone, and singing. Now I am so glad that I did. I was given the revelation more than 40 years ago, that I was to make an “album”. But I never dreamed that it was to be “ME” as the solo act. I thought I was supposed to help someone else. Finally I got it… This was meant for me to do. This is why I’m promoting “Chase Your Dreams” as the featured song. I know that I am not the only one who was NOT doing what I was destined to do. So it’s time for you to chase your dreams.
