Donna Brooks can sing like a bird or belt it like Bruce, and you can't be sure exactly which vocal stylings are coming next. But Birmingham, Alabama's own singer-songwriter has spent years honing her songwriting craft, so you can rest assured that whichever approach she uses, it's going to be a good story or a good groove. Donna grew up in the Muscle Shoals area and maybe a little of that Tennessee River magic rubbed off on her. But somewhere up around that bend where folk and country and blues meet, she started writing songs. She has now released her debut EP "Parking Lot Penny" which is sure to have you singing along in no time.
