简介

This (set of) album(s) dives into the Folk / bar elements of piano with electronic/gothic elements embraced in the vocals. The focus is on the inward struggle of understanding who we are using pop culture, philosophy, physics and metaphysics, and all the hodgy podgy fiddle-de-dink that we encounter as we travel our own Hoober-Bloob Highway The painting used as the backdrop is a painting done by my 2 year old son. Peace to you, and De Colores to all Phloide ____________________________________________________ --ANTWON'S WAR-- Antwon’s Mirror opened a secret door To a world no man had been before, Where gnomes and goblins fought an ancient war And no one knows what for, Just gotta even up the score The Elder spoke “Once you come and join our song, It no long matters whose right or wrong It doesn’t matter where you thing you belong, Sometimes the side we chose Depends on the size of our shoes And all will be been forsaken as we bury all our dead As all we once thought important, now fading memories in our head Can anyone tell me just what we’re fighting for Antwon returned through the mirror door, to the world he knew before where gnomes and goblins are left in cookie jars, Got a box of crayons, to draw a pretty picture --WHAT YOU WILL-- If I were a poet, I'd write you a poem, using pretty words And if I were a painter, I'd paint you a picture, that words could not explain No, I’ll never be in vogue, Just a fool with a song and a dream This is the song I sing, Do with it what you will With its silly words and a voice that sings out of tune You can throw it all away, But when all is said and done I will be right here If I were an architect, I'd build you a home, out of silver and gold and if I were a clown, I'd put on a show, just to see you smile --HELL'S ICE CREAM SHOPPE-- “I paint a self-portrait poorly But I'll sell it to you pretty cheap” – Mark Heard One morning in Hell, I thought about taking a trip to Paradise Shouldn’t be too many tourists, You know it’s only half a day’s journey Including all the detours I stopped at the local ice cream shop, To grab the flavor of the day There I met a man from Earth, Who said he was on his way to Nirvana He must of taken a wrong turn on I-94 I always wondered if Hell really existed, I’ve heard a lot about it, But who woulda thought it would have been such a beautiful place 19 hundred miles above the Earth So here I am stuck here in Hell, I guess its partly my own fault I threw away the navigational device When it didn’t like my interpolations As I charted my elucidation I took a ride into the personal pronoun and when I got inside, I didn’t like what I found Next thing I knew, I found myself in an Empty Metaphor As he heads out the door, he quietly hangs his head, “I may be close, but its getting late I guess I should just head back home, I guess Nirvana can wait” That’s when I noticed he never finish his ice cream I am wise enough to know not to discard every Rhombus and Rhyme that doesn’t seem to comfortably fit into my current paradigm so I finished my Ice cream, and headed out the door --THE DEATHTONGUE REUNION SHOW-- (hairy fish nuts for pear pimples) we stand at the stage, ya know its been a long time, since we’ve twung the old rhythm and rhyme 2 by 2 we’ve come from the Outlands, to twist and sing, and touch a penguins wings Bill and Opus took the stage, but Hodge Podge was nowhere to be found Some light glimmer only for a moment Before they must return to the sky so Animal has taken over drums and the band played on Steve is there, waxing the tracks while Oliver records it all on his betamax Motimer and Milo took care of the lights As we all gaze into the beautiful yet cryptic starry nights we are looking for messages, we are looking for a sign is this the road we have been given through some magnanimous celestial design milo breaks the silence with the latest breaking story and the band played on The Banana 2000 is calculating the big crunch while Regan-Ann serves us all lunch Rosbud watches over the children while Lola works on her quantum dissertation Milquetoast whispered in my ear it’s really good to see you again, my old friend Portnoy says the ship has lost a great captain the star fleet has ever known But the anxieties in your closet must be fed and the band played on Calvin and Hobbes come join for the chorus and all sorts of mayhem ensue and when all is said and done we pack up for the outlands, There’s a script everyone must write, only ours to perform So we all sit one last time on a couch in the middle of a dandelion field in our underwear and scream but we know it will never be the same, since the drummer left the stage we scribe our legend, from the days we’ve been given, and the band played on --THIS IS THE NEW-- Ecclesiastes 1:9-14 Everything has been said before, There's nothing left to say anymore When it's all the same, You can ask for it by name Let us entertain you, Let us re-arrange you... Stick your silly slogan in: Everybody sing along. Are you Fraggles ready For the new Smurf daddy whack give a dog a bone? Stand up and admit, we’re never gonna get yesterday is never coming home. Let us offend you Let us simply amend you Slap your bumper sticker on And sing along Are you furbies ready For the lovie-dovie mon chi chi clone Stand up and admit, its easier to commit when the future is unknown. The Morning Star has come, Oh Dove of God Land on me Little Boy Blue come blow your horn, You’re stuck in your own head Lions, tigers and bears are in your bead, And vultures are laughing, feeding off your dead If the cow jumps over the moon, Does it mean that Jesus is coming soon The donkey speaks, the stone sings, What kind of gift is this the lamb would bring SUM OF ALL THINGS / DANDELIONS REPRISE I hears a zillion voices, crying out for meaning And I swears I swears, they sounds a lot like me I sees a zillion faces, looking for the notion of being, and I swears I swears, they looks a lot like me Has systematic truth truly made us wise? Are we just a cosmic glitch with a side of curly fries? And hope nothing more than chasing after the man on the moon. There is a fingerprint upon the celestial road That matches the cryptic prints in my genetic code Giving hope that Reason stretches beyond Entropy’s noon --GOOD-BYE MR TEDDY BEAR-- You've been a part of me, Just like in a story, full of giants of fairies and thieves but the giants they have fallen, the thieves have all been caught, and the fairies have all flown away so I open up my toy chest to lay you down, in your final place of rest upon the memories of yesterday gone of dreams, of foolishness and folly and so the story goes, Peter Pan has finally grown old Good-bye Mr. Teddybear, It's time to let you go Good-bye Mr. Teddybear, It's time to let my past fade away Time to change my ways, And time to move on I close my toy chest and walk away, For you see there is a world out there waiting I may be a little scared, slightly afraid, But I know I will never go alone * Good-bye...
