markilo allen was born on febuary 19, 1970, to gregory allen and naomi harrison in kansas city, mo. he has be rapping since his early teenage years, and his abilities are a result of this god given gift. he now resides in salt lake city, ut. with his five daughters whom he along with his mother has insured that they know the lord jesus christ as their lord and savior. markilo is sure to change the face of christian rap, and has been described as blessed, and as being a breathe of fresh air. upon listening to any of markilo's songs it is evident that he is not your average christian rapper. markilo has a crystal clear delivery that is sure to be enjoyed by both those young and old. having had christ in his life at an early age the seed was planted, and has helped to keep markilo in god's loving grace through out his life. although the seed was planted markilo has not always applied the principals and truths he knew to his god given life. as a teen he was involved in gangs, and subsequently spent 11 years of his life incarcerated for a gang related homicide. now at the age of 35 it is quite visible to see the changes, and the blessings the lord has bestowed on markilo. the driving force behind his musik is getting the oppurtunity to encourage people, both young and old to personally get to know jesus christ. now after many years of trials and tribulations he has completed his debut gospel cd entitled"more of him". the album delivers a message of the love god has for us, and how it never changes despite our unworthyness. it will allow all those that listen to it to speak their hearts directly to god on songs like, heavenbound, he's been good to you, praise his name, and the albums single"serve the lord". this album is anointed, and will definately point those lost and confused back to god.
